Afzal al-A'yad (book)

Afzal al-A'yad (Arabic: أفضل الأعياد), The Best of Eids, authored by Mahdi Sadri, contains eighty hadiths, both brief and detailed, regarding the virtues and rituals of Eid al-Ghadir. The first part of this book addresses the commemoration of Eid al-Ghadir and its connection to the prophets, angels, and topics such as the World of Dharr, Nowruz, and Ghadir on the Day of Resurrection. The second part is dedicated to the virtues and rituals of Eid al-Ghadir and includes topics such as honoring Ghadir, types of worship, the special Eid prayer, and the reward of visiting the Commander of the Faithful (a). This work explains the importance and significance of Eid al-Ghadir in Islam.

Author

Mahdi Sadri, a writer and researcher, was born in 1347 Sh (1968 CE). He has been active in various religious and cultural fields and has authored numerous works in these fields. Sadri is among the active writers affiliated with Dalil-e Ma Publications, and many of his books have been published by this publishing house.
