Najm al-Din Marwaji Tabasi (Persian: نجم الدین مروجی طبسی) - (born 1334 SH/1955 CE) is a jurist, researcher, and a member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, and serves as the director of the Wala' al-Siddiqa al-Kubra Institute (a).

Biography

Najm al-Din Marwaji Tabasi, son of Muhammad Rida Tabasi Najafi, was born in 1334 SH/1955 CE in Najaf. He completed his primary and secondary education up to the ninth grade in Iranian schools in Najaf. Then, due to a strong interest in seminary studies, he entered the Hawza 'Ilmiyya of Najaf in 1350 SH/1971 CE. After completing the sath (intermediate) level, he attended advanced courses (dars-e kharij) in fiqh (jurisprudence) and usul (principles of jurisprudence) for eighteen years, benefiting from prominent teachers.

Along with other Iranians who were expelled from Iraq due to political developments, he left Najaf and migrated to the holy city of Qom to continue his studies and academic activities in one of the most important centers of the hawzas in Iran.

Teachers

In Najaf, he benefited from teachers such as his esteemed father, Ayatollah Shaykh Muhammad Rida Tabasi, Mudarris Afghani, and other masters. After arriving in the holy city of Qom, he attended the lessons of prominent scholars such as Ayatollah Wahid Khurasani, Ayatollah Jawadi Amuli, Shaykh Husayn Nuri Hamadani, Fadil Lankarani, Mirza Jawad Tabrizi, and Sayyid Muhammad Rida Gulpaygani, gaining extensive knowledge.

Works

Numerous works by this esteemed scholar have been published, some of which have been translated into several languages. His works include research, historical, hadith, and Mahdawi books, written in various specialized fields such as fiqh, Islamic history, and Mahdawiyyat studies.
