Biography
Muhammad Baqir Ansari Khu'ini Zanjani was born on Sha'ban 25, 1380 AH / February 11, 1961 CE, in the city of Qom. His father, Isma'il Ansari, was a seminary researcher and author, and among his works are al-Mawsu'at al-Kubra 'an Fatima al-Zahra' (a) in twenty-five volumes, and the first translation and research of Kitab Sulaym b. Qays al-Hilali titled Asrar Al Muhammad (a).
Ansari moved to Tehran with his parents in his second year of life and remained there until he was fourteen. He completed his primary and secondary education in Tehran. In 1353 SH, Ansari returned to Qom with his parents and began studying religious sciences at the Seminary of Qom.
Education and Teachers
Muhammad Baqir Ansari completed his intermediate-level studies over seven years under his father and uncle. From 1361 SH, he attended the fiqh and usul classes of Murtada Ha'iri Yazdi (d. 1364 SH / 1985 CE) and Husayn Wahid Khurasani and compiled the lecture notes of their fiqh and usul lessons in Arabic.
Concurrently with his engagement in fiqh and usul, Ansari specialized in the science of rijal and bibliography.
