Verse 72 of Sura al-Tawba and Ghadir
Verse 72 of Sura al-Tawba is a verse that was used by the Prophet (s) during the events of Ghadir to describe the situation of the lovers of Amir al-Mu'minin (a) on the Day of Judgment.

Some researchers have outlined the context for the use of this verse as follows:[1] After Harith b. Nu'man al-Fihri objected in Ghadir to the matter of the imamate and wilayah of Amir al-Mu'minin (a) and a stone descended upon him from the sky,[2] and after the Prophet (s) made some statements regarding this, he addressed the crowd, saying: "Did you see with your own eyes?" They replied: "Yes." He asked: "Did you hear with your own ears?" They replied: "Yes." He said: "Blessed is he who loves 'Ali, and woe to him who shows enmity towards him. It is as if I see 'Ali and his Shi'a on the Day of Judgment, riding on camels towards the gardens of Paradise, with youthful faces, wearing crowns, and having kohl in their eyes."
The Prophet (s) continued his speech by referring to a part of Verse Seventy-Two of Sura Tawba:
ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ لا خَوْفٌ عَلَیْکُمْ وَ لا اَنْتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ
- No fear shall be on them, nor shall they grieve..
Prior to this verse, he had referred to Verse Forty-Nine of Sura A'raf.[3]
