Mohammad Reza Sharifi (b. 1349 SH) is a researcher, religious preacher, and director of the Ghadirestan Scientific and Artistic Institute. He has been active in the field of Ghadir studies in both scholarly and organizational capacities for more than three decades.
Most of his activities and research have focused on Ghadir studies and Imamate studies, and he has published numerous works on these subjects. Among his most important works is the compilation of the 26-volume Danishnama-ye Ghadir (Encyclopedia of Ghadir). In addition to publishing scholarly and religious works, Sharifi has also taught Ghadir-related subjects for many years.
One of his most significant activities is the establishment of the Ghadirestan Cultural Institute, which has been active since 1385 SH / 2006 CE in various cultural and religious outreach activities related to Ghadir, with audiences of different age groups in mind.

Biography and Education
Mohammad Reza Sharifi was born on 7 Khordad 1349 SH / May 28, 1970 CE, in Isfahan, into a scholarly and religious family. His father, Mohammad Baqir Sharifi, was a scholarly figure who was active in religious outreach at the time. Mohammad Reza Sharifi has included his biography in the book Rawzeh Khan-e Sharif.
After obtaining a diploma in mathematics and physics in 1369 SH / 1990 CE, Sharifi entered university. He graduated in 1374 SH / 1995 CE with a degree in civil engineering. After some time, he began studying at the Isfahan seminary and later went to Qom to continue his studies. After ten years, Sharifi returned to Isfahan and engaged in cultural and educational activities alongside his research.

Cultural Activities
According to the book Ghadīristān dar Tablīgh-i Ghadīr, the following activities are mentioned among those of the Ghadiristan Institute under the management of Mohammad Reza Sharifi:
- Short-term two-day training courses on Ghadir;
- - Long-term, three-month training courses consisting of twelve sessions, titled “Training Ghadir Preachers”;
- Establishment of the Ghadir Educational School, offering general instruction on Imamate and specialized instruction on Ghadir;
- A training course on research methodology.
- A training course on authorship and article writing.
- Scientific conferences and specialized meetings on Ghadir and other Shi'i topics, such as Fatimiyya and Mahdawiyya;
- Organization of educational and pilgrimage trips, as well as meetings with prominent scholars and specialists in Imamate and Ghadir;
- Printing and publication of dozens books on Ghadir.
Other cultural activities of Sharifi include the establishment of the Thaqalayn Center in Zahedan and the establishment of a gathering for fostering a spiritual connection with Imam al-Mahdi.[1]
